About the blog
The exciting 'about this blog' introduction
This forum about global finance and the Luxembourg financial sector is run by selected staff members of Luxembourg for Finance, all passionate advocates for international finance in general and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and its financial centre in particular. Needless to say they all have lots of other passions, but a detailed presentation of these would go beyond the scope of this introduction.
We love sharing our ideas, listening to yours and discussing both. So if you have news, information, tips, facts, figures, observations, suggestions, opinions, comments, reports, concerns, questions, remarks, addenda, explanations, monographs, theses, analyses, elucidations, wisecracks, links, literary masterpieces or any other interesting stuff you believe is related to the topics discussed on this platform, send them along.
We do not promise to publish every contribution we get. On the contrary, we promise not to publish every contribution we get. Please have a look at our disclaimer to learn the very serious rules of the game. You may submit your contributions in the language of your choice, but since we are going to moderate this blog, your chances of having a contribution published will increase dramatically if written in a language understood by at least one of the moderators: English, French, German or Luxembourgish (Yes, this is a language, spoken by the Grand Duchy's indigenous population and by an ever increasing number of in-migrants).
If we find your contribution particularly illuminating, inspiring or simply inventive, we'll do our very best to couch a commensurable answer.
The best contributions will be preserved for eternity in our archives. Since we have just launched our blog, the likelihood of finding anything in that section right now is close to zero. So, instead of wasting your time looking up what kind of contributions your peers have made to this blog so far, go ahead and post a thought yourself.
We hope you have a good time visiting the Luxembourg for Finance blog.
And we hope having a good time running it, too.
